What you’ll do:
We are seeking a project champion to help plan and execute programs to empower researchers, scientists and entrepreneurs to improve the potential success of their ideas and commercialize new ventures. This person should be well versed in running programs and be both operations and people focused.
Typical work includes:
- Support multi-tiered entrepreneurship education and coaching programs that have a major impact on the success of commercializing research and innovation within the government labs and other organizations
- Manage project plans, stay extremely organized and focused on details of program execution
- Design and develop presentations, reports and content using PPT and other creative software (Beautiful.ai, Canva, etc.)
- Execute the backend of workshops, webinars, and ecosystem (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Hivebrite, Gatheround, etc.)
- Manage client engagements, calls/meetings to include set up, taking minutes, and managing follow-ups
- Participate in the innovation ecosystem in your region: meeting companies, customers, advisors and investors where they are, and bringing them into the fold at FedTech
- Collaborate cross-functionally across internal teams to align efforts and drive engagement with key external stakeholders in the innovation ecosystem.
Successful Candidates will have the following qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in relevant industries including: innovation/studio/accelerator programs, entrepreneurship or entrepreneurial support organizations.
- Innovation experience related to DOD/Navy is a plus.
- Experience with the needs of early-stage technology-oriented ventures is a plus.
- Completion of bachelor’s degree
- Extremely strong program management skills, including relevant software tools (e.g., Excel, Forecast, PPT, Airtable, etc.)
- Ability to build strong relationships with a diverse set of people.
- Experience with the needs of early-stage technology-oriented ventures and/or innovation at large organizations.
- Strong communication (oral and written) skills with ability to present to multiple audiences.
- Relentlessly drives towards action (testing, measuring, iterating)

Compensation:
- Base salary range: $73-86k
- The salary range listed for this position is based on market data and internal compensation structure. The final compensation package will be determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills and education. This range is not a guarantee of compensation and offers may fall outside this range in exceptional cases.
- Ability to earn upside bonus and equity, rapid career progression

Travel:
Ability and willingness to travel domestically (~10%).
Location:
We are open to candidates from Austin TX, Southern California OR Arlington, VA (our headquarters). Relocation reimbursement may be available if needed.
