What you’ll do:
We are seeking an individual with a growth mindset to help build and execute initiatives to support venture creation and commercialization programs, primarily out of Federal labs and research institutions. Projects will include supporting novel new incubation programs for innovations in the energy, climate, aerospace, and health/bio sectors.
Some examples of what you’ll do:
- Support day-to-day operations of venture incubation and acceleration programs that provide tailored services for early-stage ventures, such as entrepreneurship education and coaching programs
- Manage project plans, stay extremely organized and focused on details of program execution
- Design and develop presentations, reports and other program material using content creation software (Beautiful.ai, Canva, etc.)
- Execute the backend of workshops, webinars, and program ecosystems (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Suite, etc.)
- Manage client engagements to include set-up, taking minutes, and managing follow-ups
- Coordinate community engagement events, bringing together innovators, entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and investors to foster collaboration
- Participate in the innovation ecosystem, meeting companies, customers, advisors and investors where they are and bringing them into the fold at FedTech.
- Collaborate cross-functionally across internal teams to align efforts and drive engagement with key external stakeholders in the innovation ecosystem
- Participate in professional development activities like new product development, business/finance and entrepreneurship. We are 100% committed to growing your skill set.
Successful candidates will have the following qualifications:
- 0-2 years of experience in relevant industries including: entrepreneurship or innovation programming, consulting, business admin/analysis/finance, or engineering/science.
- Experience in the energy, climate, aerospace, or life sciences is a plus
- Experience with the needs of early-stage technology-oriented ventures is a plus
- Completion of a bachelor’s degree
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for environmental sustainability
- Ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders (e.g., scientist, corporate executive, entrepreneur, investor, government, etc.).
- Tech savvy. Expert in a handful of SAAS systems and interested in learning more.
- Ability to thrive under tight deadlines, bringing a proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the initiative to confidently drive projects forward.

Compensation:
- Base salary range: $65-80k
- The salary range listed for this position is based on market data and internal compensation structure. The final compensation package will be determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills and education. This range is not a guarantee of compensation and offers may fall outside this range in exceptional cases.
- In addition to the base salary, compensation includes performance-based bonus (OTE) and ability to earn equity

Location:
The position will be set up as a hybrid work arrangement in either of the following locations:
- 3 days in person at our headquarters in Arlington, VA, and 2 days remote
- 2 days in person at our office in Boston, MA and 3 days remote
