What you’ll do:

This role focuses on maintaining and expanding internal database systems, leading data collection, integration, and automation efforts to support organizational efficiency. It involves working closely with users to gather feedback, support adoption, and ensure systems evolve to meet internal needs. The position also plays a key role in centralizing programmatic information and delivering actionable insights through consistent, stakeholder-driven reporting.

Typical functions include:

  • Maintain and expand internal database systems 
  • Engage with database users to gather feedback, provide education, and ensure effective use of the systems.
  • Lead data collection efforts and ensure consistency across the organization.
  • Gather and analyze data to create reports for internal stakeholders and business development.
  • Centralize and standardize critical programmatic information to improve overall efficiency.
  • Develop automations to integrate data from various sources into existing systems.
  • Lead efforts to ensure feedback from users is incorporated into future database and automation improvements.

Successful candidates will have the following qualifications:

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Airtable for building complex bases, automations, formulas, and data management workflows is required.
  • Completion of a bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of experience in data systems management, data analysis, or automation workflows.
  • Working knowledge of Python, SQL, and JavaScript is not required but highly beneficial for integration, automation, and data manipulation tasks.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing datasets and building tools.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills with experience in managing databases and designing automated workflows to streamline operations.
  • Proven ability to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements while managing input from multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and articulate a clear information and data vision aligned with organizational goals.
  • Excellent communication skills to collect feedback, understand user needs, and deliver training or guidance on tools developed for both internal and external users.

Compensation: 

  • Base salary range: $75-90k
    • The salary range listed for this position is based on market data and internal compensation structure. The final compensation package will be determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills and education. This range is not a guarantee of compensation and offers may fall outside this range in exceptional cases.
  • Ability to earn upside bonus and equity, rapid career progression

Location:

We are open to candidates from Arlington (VA), Austin (TX), Boston (MA) OR Los Angeles (CA). Relocation reimbursement may be available if needed.
